Actually, the campaign to make the prisoners literate was done by the jailer of the present time, Raj Mahendra Bishnoi. Those who have awakened the light of education so that this criminal can take education and give right direction to his life.
Raj Mahendra said that when I was posted here, I saw many such episodes who were not educated and did not even know about the punishment for the crime. Then I decided that the criminals who are illiterate should be made literate. There are many prisoners in the prison who are educated, the criminals/prisoners who are educated should be educated by them so that education can be promoted among the prisoners and crime can be reduced in the society.

Jailor Bishnoi did it at his own expense to give education to the prisoners in Nagaur Jail. After that cooperation was done by Bhamashah. Along with education, the work of making the prisoners efficient was also done. For this, the prisoners were also taught the work of motor binding, bulb making and repairing of electric goods.
So that when the prisoner comes out of the jail after completing his sentence, he can lead a respectable life and can live his life by doing his business. NABARD and the jail administration also had full cooperation in making the prisoners efficient.
So far 60 prisoners have been educated
Jailor Bishnoi told that since December 2021, 60 prisoners have been educated and also made skilled. Weekly tests are also taken to see whether the education has affected the prisoners or not and they are given a chance to become literate.
